Save Your Knees

It was like countless other football games. The home team was in a celebration mode as they neared the end of another win. Then it happened. He couldn't get up. Lying there on the field holding his knee - we all feared the worst - and hoped for the best. Another Friday night of football and fun ending with a sorrowful disappointment. Knee injuries are almost common-place in football. After some surgery and a few months of rehab he'll be almost as good as new. For now.

Do your knees hurt after a long day? Does it hurt when you squat down to pick up anything? You might enjoy a low-impact workout to get your blood flowing without ruining your knees. Your choices are many. Try something new. Give your body a new challenge.

The average gym or health club membership costs over $400 a year. Walking costs nothing! (Well, you really do want a decent pair of shoes. ) Save your knees - and your money - try low-impact exercise a few times a week.
