How to Lose Your Belly

The turkeys are eaten - the pies another pleasant memory of taste! Thanksgiving weekend means food and fun. Football games and shopping malls. Turkey legs and pumpkin pies! And more fun!

The Best Way to Lose belly fat is a two-fold approach. Together these two simple, time tested steps will help you blast belly fat away for good.

Plenty of heart pumping exercise combined with eating healthy foods are the keys you need to shed those unwanted pounds. Kickstart your metabolism with a tall glass of ice-cold water and some early morning protein. Then get as much exercise as you can throughout the day!

First – Start getting in better shape fast by taking a walk. Yes, a nice, pleasureful, low-stress, relaxing walk. Burn some calories and let your mind wander. Catch up on your thoughts while you enjoy nature and start your journey to a fitter, leaner body!

It’s that easy to reap the benefits of moderate endurance exercise. Each time you go - simply walk a little farther and a little faster. As the weeks pass, gradually increase the pace, and distance of your walks.

Every couple weeks, increase the duration of your workout by five minutes. Add five or ten minutes of total-body stretches to the beginning and end of your workouts. Stretching improves your flexibility and makes your workouts easier.

After two weeks, increase the higher intensity portion of the workout to 10 minutes. Two weeks later, increase it to 15 minutes of vigorous exercise, and then two weeks later do 20 minutes of vigorous activity, three to four days a week. This healthy activity that will help you reduce your belly! Walking 30 minutes or more a day at a brisk pace is an excellent start to your weight loss program. Keep eating healthy foods and keep walking!

Simple Living

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sometimes simple solutions just seem to work best. Hundreds of years ago good , honest hard working folks just like yourself managed to stay slim and fit without expensive gyms or health clubs. They worked hard and enjoyed a diet filled with healthy, natural foods. The fast food industry had yet to blossom.

Simple living - hard work and more fresh, locally grown produce and grains. The beef or pork came from a local rancher instead of a feedlot in Southwest Texas. The cattle roamed on lush acres of native grasses. They weren't filled with growth hormones or genetically modified anything. The cattle ate grass. The beef tasted better and was better for you.

We are indeed very fortunate to live in times of convenient food choices and fancy, high-tech exercise equipment. And, just maybe a look back at our forefathers might reveal some healthy habits worthy of our attention. Simple habits often produce incredible results.

Need to shed a few pounds? Walk five miles every day. Or run at least 3 miles. Eat more fruits and vegetables. And while you're at it - try some good old fashioned calisthenics. You just might find yourself feeling more energized and looking a bit slimmer before Christmas!

Want to save a few more of your hard earned dollars? Walk to the grocery store. Walk to Church. Walk everywhere you reasonably can. Do your waistline - and your wallet - a favor and enjoy the fresh air while you save your money!

About a Nice Butt

Do you ever wish you could have a nicer looking butt? Try these tips to get the nice, toned butt you've been dreaming of....

Exercise and stay active. Americans spend a great deal of time sitting. Its unavoidable - we sit at our desks for hours on end, and in the car. Then we go home and sink into a favorite easy chair. But the human body was built to be active. So take a walk, go for a jog or a bike ride. Get a jump rope, or do some push-ups and jumping jacks. No need to spend a fortune at the local health club. You can stay active and get in better shape without shelling out a small fortune every month!
Try something new. You can make some simple changes to your exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits and achieve any of your fitness goals!

The first step is just being more active even if its only a little. Start by walking; it can always be worked into your day. Anyone can do it any time, in almost any place, without any special equipment. The opportunities are plentiful: go for a walk after dinner instead of watching television; walk to work; walk to the store rather than driving; or take the dog or the kids for a long walk.

Exercise not only helps you feel good physically, but it gives you time to yourself to sort through your schedule and prepare for the pressures of your day. The better you feel about yourself, the more productive you can be — at work and at play.
