Get Fit for Summer

There is a beautiful town in Northern Minnesota called International Falls. The weather this time of year is so cold they are often featured on the Weather Channel as one of the coldest places in North America. Sub-zero temps are the norm in Winter there.

Are you looking forward to Summer? Winter is beautiful in its own right. And, if you're like me you may be day-dreaming of warmer Summer days!




Add a little exercise to your day without even leaving home! Try some good, old fashioned exercises you learned in middle school. Push-ups are great for your core and upper body. Try walking in place while you watch a favorite show.

The girl scout cookies tasted great that cold February night. And the bag of extra hot chips provided just the kick my mouth was yearning for. Sipping my 3rd beer I opened the book.

Books on weight loss fill the shelves of Amazon's warehouse. Volumes of advice on how to lose belly fat. As I slowly read on that chilly evening I realized that my extra pounds were the result of two habits. Eating junk and sitting on the couch every night.
