Happy, Healthy Holidays!


The Holiday break is the perfect time to start leading a healthy lifestyle! Enjoy your family, friends, and loved ones and get a little exercise too!

Take advantage of physical activities you and your friends enjoy doing together and eat the foods you like. Be adventurous — try new sports, games and other activities as well as new foods. You’ll grow stronger, play longer, and look and feel better! Have you tried dancing? Dancing is great fun and good for you! Try something totally new this week!

Get a little exercise every day. Take the stairs when you can. Strive to walk at least 20 minutes a day. Can't make it to the gym? Try some simple, yet effective exercises in the privacy of your home several times a week. Do you have room for an exercise bike? Or how how about a few dumbbells. You can achieve great results with a few basic weights.
