How to Shape up for Summer

Summer is here - across much of North America. You can still look great at the beach this Summer with a some intense and efficient calorie torching workouts. Forget the pills and magic fixes. Start getting in better shape fast with some simple exercises you can do right at home! Save your time and money - working out at home!

If you want to lose weight or just tone your body - start today! Start getting half an hour of vigorous cardio workouts four or five times a week. Get some hand weights, a jump rope and an exercise ball. Do more reps with lighter weights and you'll be on the road to a slimmer, sexier body in no time!

For the best results - vary your workouts. Try these great muscle building dips to shape up your arms and upper body -



Hit the road for 30 minutes of jogging or even brisk walking. ( If you do prefer walking you'll burn even more calories if you increase your time to 45 minutes or an hour. ) Mix in some brief bursts of speed. Or get on your Elliptical Trainer before the family gets up and your day turns into a whirlwind of family fun and obligations! Toss your jogging shoes in your bag and get in 20 minutes at lunch if you can.

Do the stairs at lunch and before you leave for the day! Take your family to the pool and spend some time doing laps! Or how about an after supper bicycle outing? The possibilities are almost endless. When the temperatures start inching into the high 80s and 90s - be sure to keep a big bottle of water handy. Leave the soda on the shelf and focus on drinking more water this Summer!
